Stay Ahead of Network and Regulatory Compliance

OVERVIEW

Navigating card network and regulatory compliance is critical but complex. CRG helps issuers, acquirers, and ISOs stay compliant while minimizing cost and operational burden.

CHALLENGES WE ADDRESS

Keeping up with changes.

Compliance expectations shift constantly—what was compliant last year may not be today. Staying up to date is a constant drain on time, resources & internal confidence.

Identifying issues early.

Non-compliance fees & penalties can hit the bottom line hard. Many teams struggle to trace the source, track trends, or even spot issues before they escalate.

Coordinating efforts.

Even small missteps can have big consequences. With multiple teams & systems involved, consistent compliance is difficult to maintain at scale.

Project Spotlight

01

CONTEXT

Our client was proactively reviewing its Consumer Rewards card program compliance with card network rules and regulatory requirements across the bank and its 3rd parties. CRG provided consulting assistance, bringing expertise in defining the scope of the compliance review, collecting and reviewing data, and identifying gaps.

02

APPROACH

Over the course of 4 weeks, we worked with the bank to collect the required documentation, conducted interviews with key business stakeholders to deepen understanding of compliance requirements and clarify documentation, and collaboratively drafted a findings report which provided clear guidance on a remediation strategy.

03

OUTCOME

A relatively recently-assembled Risk team was able to take a deep dive into network and regulatory compliance requirements, accompanied by CRG as an expert guide, and to provide the business with a clear assessment and recommendations for action.
